Kerry Jones Personal Color Analysist Indigo Tones Blog

Welcome to the Indigo Tones blog:  Living in Color!

I am so excited about the new Indigo Tones blog.  For years, colleagues and clients have been asking me to share what I know about color harmony.

My fascination with living in color started with a fascination with incredible peacock who defies all survival of the fittest theories.  Peacocks confidently walk the earth showing their beautiful colors and embracing their uniqueness in the natural world.  There is a luminosity to their plumes. I experience the same luminosity when I see people wearing their colors, being themselves and finding joy in life.  When I designed the unique Indigo Tones fiber personal color swatch books, I was inspired by the shape and brilliance of the peacock's plume. The Indigo Tones Personal Color Plumes are an invaluable tool in tapping into our own luminosity.

As my business has evolved, so has my personal color analysis.  I have learned as much from the mistakes I made as I have from the home runs.  The more I focused on COLOR HARMONY, the more I saw that there is a multi-dimensional aspect to getting colors just right.  It is not as simple as handing someone a swatch book of colors and telling them to hit the mall.  It takes time to figure out the individual, their needs, and how they fit into the world of color.  In this blog, I plan to share with you the concepts in creating personal color harmony, answer your questions about fitting into the world of color, and how to make things work for you.

I have met some amazing people who are embracing life, living authentically and joyfully.  In the series Colorful Lives, I will introduce you them and they will share their stories of embracing life in color!

I hope you will find the blog interesting, inspiring and entertaining!

Kerry

It was a treat for me to do a "surprise" color analysis for Donald Green for his 50th birthday several years ago.  He was a good sport and went along for the ride and jumped enthusiastically into his Warm Autumn palette.  Donald is a Podologist and runs a specialized European foot care center. I was amazed at his professionalism and attention to detail on my first visit. He and I share a similar exacting approach to our systems and methods and I appreciate the care he gives each and every client.

In the years since his color analysis he has incorporated his colors into his business branding and lifestyle.
