A personal color analysis consultation at Indigo Tones involves a series of fine-tuned scientific color harmony tests against a persons natural coloring. The analysis can not be completed simply by looking at a person, looking at a photo, seeing them on a computer screen or by discussing favorite colors. We will test multiple variations of color hues, values and chromas before determining which seasonal tone best suits you.
Color analysis is done only during daylight hours. Saturday appointments are available but fill up quickly and are reserved for groups of 2 or more. Request a Saturday appointment for your group here.
An individual color consultation at Indigo Tones typically requires about 2 hours. When 2 or more come together, the analysis is done as a group experience and takes just a bit more time. A group session is recommended for it’ value because the attendees learn so much more, walk away with a greater understanding, the cost is slightly reduced and it’s so much fun!
An ideal group size is 2-4 people and requires 2-3 hours.
Clients are asked to remove eyeglasses, cosmetics, and tinted contact lenses. Hair is covered if it has been color treated. It's best to avoid wearing anything bulky around the neck where testing will be taking place.
The color testing portion of the consultation comes first. Once the seasonal tone colors are determined the consultation will focus on recommendations for building a wardrobe that integrates lifestyle, personality and the new colors. Recommendations will also be made for hair color and cosmetics as appropriate.
Cosmetics are the finishing touch for looking natural look that is not "made up." You will be asked to bring your entire collection of cosmetics and brushes to select those that harmonize with your coloring and those could be replaced. We will be using them in addition to the Indigo Tones brand, so please bring everything!
The current price for an individual color consultation with Kerry at Indigo Tones is $375. Travel consultations are the same.
Discount pricing of $325/person is offered for groups of 2 or more as a group session is the best use of time and is highly recommended.
A group experience is very rich and attendees learn so much from seeing the draping on others and experiencing the educational portion of the consultation together. And it is so much fun to come in a group session!
