It is a pleasure to introduce Light Spring, Ellen Proffit. Ellen's color consultation just one year ago completely changed her life. We did the analysis outside near the beach and her very fair coloring harmonized beautifully with all the colors that surrounded us. She didn't need convincing or years to embrace the colors and make enormous changes. Since then, she has lost nearly 50 pounds, cleared out the dark, drab colors in her closet, updated the colors in her home and found a new focus for her unique children's clothing company, Sweet Petunia Clothing. While visiting Vero Beach, Florida, a good friend recommended I have a color analysis with Kerry, as it had really helped her when she went shopping and selecting items that best suited her. I was so excited that Kerry was able to fit me in! I couldn't wait to hear what colors were truly best for me as I had always been a black, navy and kelly green type of person. Of course, I was wearing colors and makeup that were completely wrong for my hair color, skin color and eye color!
I absolutely loved my new color palette "Light Spring" and felt liberated to be encouraged to wear colors that I had always been intuitively attracted to wearing but was always afraid to go out of my "safe" zone.
In September of 2021, my amazing sister in law was diagnosed with breast cancer. This prompted my journey to assist her with nutrition and alternate therapies at the whole body level (nutrition, mind, exercise and energy). I am thrilled to report that she is in complete remission and her doctors are thrilled and also surprised with how her body was able to heal!
I took some of the holistic concepts and applied them to my own health journey.I have lost nearly 50 pounds and have learned how to fuel my body with flavorful and dense healthy foods (I even crave kale 😜), my body is happy and healthy! My BMI went from 32 to 24 in just 5 months!
I do believe that my color analysis session assisted with my weight loss journey! I made going to the mall a priority along with my handy dandy color palette. I would try on new clothes in new sizes (in my colors) and then take pictures to compare my progress from the previous visit. It was such an uplifting experience to find that the clothes were fitting better and that my pants kept getting smaller and smaller! I went from a 32 to currently a size 26 during my mall therapy sessions!
As the owner of a specialized colorful children's clothing business, it shifted the way I see the designs we were creating. The same theories that apply to adult clothing also apply to dressing children. A child with brighter coloring will come alive in brighter bolder colors and a child with coloring like mine would sparkle in lighter fresher colors.
It is such a blessing to have the knowledge of what colors and styles that will look best on you so you can be the best version of yourself! My confidence has sky rocketed and I started to love myself again! It's truly amazing how Kerry's color analysis has impacted my life! I have even decorated my house differently and listen to what makes me happy!

What fun to introduce the incredibly colorful Bright Spring, Natalie Rae Dickerson! I met Natalie when she was in the process of taking over the fabulous fine clothing store, Panache Consignment from my client and colleague Joan Lincoln. Meeting Natalie was like a burst of fresh air. She radiated warmth and vibrancy and was very game to learn more about what colors would be ideal for her. It was no surprise that she absolutely popped in the bright colors and that she jumped right in head first into wearing them. Every time I pop in to the shop, she is shining in some new combination of her colors. She redesigned the store to be organized by color and I find it so easy to find colors for myself and my clients. When she enthusiastically called me to schedule a color analysis after seeing another client of mine looking pulled together, I knew I had to get her in for a consultation asap. Her excitement was infectious and it only increased when she saw herself in her colors and out of the drab bronzers and muddy cosmetics she had been wearing. Her BRIGHT personality and dramatic but romantic style suited the bold, saturated colors. When I had the pleasure of helping her edit her closet, I could see that she was used to toning herself down with dull colors so that she didn't stand out. It is my pleasure to introduce you to this month’s Dark Winter feature, eyebrow, skincare and permanent hair removal expert, Gia Pauldine. Gia was one of my first clients when I started my color analysis business nearly 20 years ago. It was around that time that she also founded her business, Restoration Electrolysis, LLC.
Gia was easy to analyze. Her deep brown hair worked well with black and dark brown neutrals that were then and still are so easy to shop for. A few pops of rich reds, deep greens and purples and she was good to go for many years. When she decided to go gray more recently and wondered how to incorporate it with her clothing choices, we had the pleasure of reconnecting and working on her wardrobe and closet. I was amazed at how gorgeous her skin looked and she introduced me to some of the skin revitalization services she offers now including light therapy.
