It is a pleasure to introduce Light Spring, Ellen Proffit. Ellen's color consultation just one year ago completely changed her life. We did the analysis outside near the beach and her very fair coloring harmonized beautifully with all the colors that surrounded us. She didn't need convincing or years to embrace the colors and make enormous changes. Since then, she has lost nearly 50 pounds, cleared out the dark, drab colors in her closet, updated the colors in her home and found a new focus for her unique children's clothing company, Sweet Petunia Clothing. Read more about Ellen's metamorphosis.
While visiting Vero Beach, Florida, a good friend recommended I have a color analysis with Kerry, as it had really helped her when she went shopping and selecting items that best suited her. I was so excited that Kerry was able to fit me in! I couldn't wait to hear what colors were truly best for me as I had always been a black, navy and kelly green type of person. Of course, I was wearing colors and makeup that were completely wrong for my hair color, skin color and eye color!
I absolutely loved my new color palette "Light Spring" and felt liberated to be encouraged to wear colors that I had always been intuitively attracted to wearing but was always afraid to go out of my "safe" zone.
In September of 2021, my amazing sister in law was diagnosed with breast cancer. This prompted my journey to assist her with nutrition and alternate therapies at the whole body level (nutrition, mind, exercise and energy). I am thrilled to report that she is in complete remission and her doctors are thrilled and also surprised with how her body was able to heal!
I took some of the holistic concepts and applied them to my own health journey.I have lost nearly 50 pounds and have learned how to fuel my body with flavorful and dense healthy foods (I even crave kale 😜), my body is happy and healthy! My BMI went from 32 to 24 in just 5 months!
I do believe that my color analysis session assisted with my weight loss journey! I made going to the mall a priority along with my handy dandy color palette. I would try on new clothes in new sizes (in my colors) and then take pictures to compare my progress from the previous visit. It was such an uplifting experience to find that the clothes were fitting better and that my pants kept getting smaller and smaller! I went from a 32 to currently a size 26 during my mall therapy sessions!
As the owner of a specialized colorful children's clothing business, it shifted the way I see the designs we were creating. The same theories that apply to adult clothing also apply to dressing children. A child with brighter coloring will come alive in brighter bolder colors and a child with coloring like mine would sparkle in lighter fresher colors.
It is such a blessing to have the knowledge of what colors and styles that will look best on you so you can be the best version of yourself! My confidence has sky rocketed and I started to love myself again! It's truly amazing how Kerry's color analysis has impacted my life! I have even decorated my house differently and listen to what makes me happy!

The last several months have been an absolute joy working with Warm Autumn Erin Sirianni to get her closet completely refreshed and full of items that she loves. She was very focused and determined to only have things that worked and the effort she made was worth it! She completely changed her hair, she passed along hundreds of items of clothing (see where some of them landed!), purged a huge percentage of her closet and shopped everywhere from the Indigo Tones resale shop to Panache Consignment to Goodwill to stores at the mall.
Erin is a Professional Development and Life Coach who gravitated to more structured, classic clothing as it felt the most professional but as we worked with her body shape and her personality we discovered she really likes a bit more drama and softer lines suit her shape. I was excited to see Deb Willsea again on my recent travels to Cape Cod, MA. We met years ago when I did a her color analysis in Rochester, NY. Deb's petite frame and creative personality style create unique challenges in finding sizes that fit correctly while seeking unusual, creative clothing in the earthy soft autumn palette.
It was a joy to feel the harmony she had created in her home on Cape Cod using Soft Autumn colors and natural materials as we weeded out items in her closet that don't work during a recent closet "rehab". Read more about how she has incorporated the concepts of balancing a natural environment for learning in developing the Cape Cod Toy Library Inc based on the Reggio Emilia philosophy in this month's colorful lives blog.
The Reggio Emilia philosophy aligns perfectly with the concepts of personal color harmony - environments that are aesthetically attractive will help foster children’s learning as well as provide a setting that is welcoming and relaxing for adults.

It has been a whirlwind since Soft Summer Kara came to a class I taught on the science involved in Personal Color Analysis this past spring. She immediately booked a color consultation and hit the ground running in a concerted effort to create a professional wardrobe in spite of unique challenges.
Kara is the Director of Security Strategic Initiatives for a large financial institution and needs to dress in a more neutral, reserved and traditional way.
Much of the more structured, detailed classic attire in her industry is too overwhelming for her petite frame and preferred natural style. Read more about how she was able to stay within a budget but was willing to invest in the initial color analysis consultation, a capsule wardrobe package and a personal shopping trip with me.
